Buying my first pair of skis

I am a 17 year old level 8 (I think) skier. I've been at it for about 12 years, but I've always used hand-me-down skis from my older brother. So, I think it’s finally time I get some boards of my own. I'm 6'1, 150 lbs and I'm looking for a general all mountain ski. I live in the Midwest, so my home hill is about 400' of nothing. However, I am fortunate enough to be able to travel with my family and ski about 15 days a year all over the US. Some usual destinations are Holiday Valley, Snowshoe, Whiteface, and the Cottonwood Canyons (headed back there this year!). Also, I have taken up snowboarding just to provide something new that I can do at my local hill that is somewhat new and challenging. So, on trips to small Eastern/Midwestern spots (Holiday Valley, 7 Springs) I'll probably board.

So, I'm really at a loss. I'm looking for a ski that will be able to handle pretty much anything. I'm looking forward to hitting up some deep power in Utah this year (and hopefully in years to come) but I want to be able to use these skis in trees and bumps (and yes, ice) if we head out east too. I realize that there really isn't going to be an option that will meet all of these requirements, and thanks for bearing with me as I spew out way too much information, but any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
