If you're in (or near enough) Buenos Aires and would like to connect when I'm on my next trip there, let me know... I'd love to connect with a bear or two during my upcoming trip (currently scheduled for arrival on the 24th and departure on the 29th, but subject to change).

Looks like this is slipping out a week or so... not that any bears appear to be in Argentina. But, if I'm there the week of the 2nd of November, will you be around? Let me know!

Steve, if you would like the inside track to the Milongas, I can set up some connections for you.

Purely a business issue. I'm working with a client who has a customer in Buenos Aires (C5N), and am going there to do an install of their system for C5N. The dates are entirely driven by C5N and the availability of the equipment.

Too bad you're not there, though; it'd be great to meet you!

We've got the plan for the trip, again, and it looks like the gear is ready this time. As long as we don't hit any showstopper bugs, I depart on Monday for Buenos Aires and will be there Tuesday 17th-Tuesday 24th. If you're around, let me know!

Well, I made it... I've been here since Tuesday morning, and I'll be departing late tomorrow. I did meet one "Internet friend" (from FlyerTalk.com), but he lives in the States and was here on vacation on the way to an Antarctic cruise. I've been hanging with a local guy who works with my client here, as well as the folks at C5N where we are doing the install.

Yesterday, I had a down day, so wandered a bit around the city...

That tree is in the center of one of the city parks past which I wandered yesterday...

This time of year, the local Jacaranda trees are beautiful!

Been following you on Facebook.

I'm having another go at CO in February. Will you be about then, or are you globetrotting again?

Hope you have a great holiday weekend.

CW :-)

CW, thanks for following along...

I expect to be in CO for at least part of February... I've got some teaching and guiding to do! Let's do our best to connect, and hope you have no issues this time around...

Buenos Aires is beautiful, but honestly I like Mendoza a lot better.  I could very easily get serious about finding ways to live there.

Glad you got to go!
