But as a for profit forum, isn't it more benefitial to open the ESA forum to the "public"? At least for public VIEWING?
We past students knows how great ESA is and no longer need convincing. Yes, past students being able to participate in the ESA forum is a good feeling of commaraderie. But had ESA not been an open forum before I went to one, I might not have ever signed up to one at all!
(Hope you get my convoluted logic. Basically, I think keeping ESA forum "private" runs contrary to the marketing need of reaching the widest audiance)
