1. Most of the best looking female instructors teach children?

2. In the ski school there is a notice board up on the wall with all the ski instructors faces? (I mean shouldn't there also be a picture of the end you will see that most)

Just wondering .......

1. Because the best looking females usually don't want some loser skiing up to them and saying "So, you're a ski instructor huh? Do you, like, ski pretty good then? We should go make a run sometime." Kids are great loser repellant. (just kidding DB!)

2. Because if there were a bunch of pictures of asses on the wall, People would think they were in the Shquad Lodge. (Ski Patrol Shack) BA-DUM-BUM-KEEEESH!!!!!

Funny you mention the first one.

When my 4 year old son took his second set of lessons, his instructor was absolutely GORGEOUS. I mean drop dead good lookin'.

He was in tears the final day, on the way to the hill, knowing he would never see her again. Me too, for that matter.

Bless her heart, when he said something about it to her, and cried again, she kept him after class, and took a few runs with him alone. He remembered it years later.

When I was a kid I had a GORGEOUS Norwegian riding instructor. The other kids got wind of what I thought and told her. She gave me my first kiss. I remember it years later.

I can see it's not just my skiing technique, diplomatic skills or spelling that needs some improvement

I don't know if "How to pick up girls" is available in your area, but you might try to find it. Of course, there's always roofies....

Heeheehee...

I am ALL for DBs second idea!! woo hoo! (at least for the guys.....)

eveyone looks the same when they are all stuffed into the same jackets, goggles, and helmets, need at least one recognizable feature....

who actually pays attention to method when the instructor (who, by his trade and time on the snow has very well developed, um, SKI PANTS,...) takes off down the hill and says, "Watch me..."

I do watch!

So while we are on the topic, how come the 40 something females end up with the "toy boy" instructors?
LM. Do you know what they call a "toy boy" instructor when his 40-something Sugar Momma breaks up with him?

HOMELESS.

Rofl! I originally heard that as a snowboarder joke!
Slightly Modified, Yes! It also works for Ski instructors, Bull riders, and Kato Kailin.

HEY!!! I'm only thirty-something.

does that mean I cant have a toy-boy yet?

Actually, as in many other things, I find maturity preferable. After all, its experience that counts n'est ce pas?

I have a confession. When I first began skiing I was taking a class at Stowe. It was a huge level 3 class with 2 instructors. One was a 20 something hottie. The other was Gherhardt, an older Austrian gentleman who really knew his stuff.

When they did the class split, I noticed that
Gherhardt was working with the more "challenged" students. So even though I had become pretty adept at linking turns, I "faked" some bad technique.

How many hail marys do i need to say?

Eh eh, LM, as a friar friend of mine would say
Go with Godm my girl, and be happy

After all this time we finally hear the truth as to why LisaMarie and LindaA started skiing

I'm a 26 year old lady (allegedly) and I'd much rather have a male ski instructor that was older. Can't stand the young blokes who think they're hot and try to ski looking at their own ass - rather have a real man with a lot of experience (ON the mountain) and tales to tell.
....sorry, what was this thread about?!

Ha! ha! Het, where have you been girl??? I've missed your sense of humor.

Hey LisaMarie! Been away trying to sort out my ski trip. Finally booked one of Mike Dempsey's tours for 5 weeks in Whistler and I can't wait! I have embarked upon a 12 week fitness programme to try and prepare my body for the onslaught. I've even cut down on the wine - it MUST be serious!
