noisey boots

Thread Starter
I just tried on some boots at the local ski shop. The Nordica Speedmachine 10's fit great but every time I flexed or walked in the boot it made loud creaky noises. The shop told me that would go away after the boot got some moisture on it. Is this accurate? Will the loud squeaking go away? If not, it could get pretty annoying.

same with squeaky shoes...supposed to go away when you pay for them

it is most likely the plastic rubbing against itself between the cuff and the clog, or an area of the liner rubbing the shell, identifying the area is normally the toughest bit, but if it is the plastic of the shell, a little candle wax rubbed there or the slightest spray of furnature polish norlally eases the squeak...(just be careful with chemicals on boots though)
