Just wondering if anyone pulled the trigger on a pair of 999's on 9-9-09??

Dunno, but it is a great ski. Just watch the mount points, there was a run that were way off.

Evogear currently has a pair of used 2007 192s with Rossi Axial2 120s for $177 after 26% discount for coupon code "YARD"....

That's a great deal on that ski.  With the big twin tip they ski a lot shorter than a 192.  Do not be afraid of this ski.

Not anymore

Thanks Dad!

Please don't tell mom

One of the reviews says they are beat up but for $177 with bindings, WTF cares?!

Check the mounting point.  Center was waaaaay too far forward for me.

They were listed as "used" with bindings and I wasn't propted for BSL when checking out so I'll be surprised if they don't need to be re mounted/moved.  .Might be cool if they're on tracks.   I'm fine with mounting bindings, I even mounted the first pair of "real" skis I got as a kid.  Not recommended to others, but it's just how I roll (cheap and never have to wait on them).

My thought exactly -- the bindings alone are worth half that.

Enjoy.

If the bottoms are decent I'll be delighted.  If the tops are thrashed I'll give them the Bumpfreaq  treatment.

He did the three on the right.  If they're beat up why not hit them with some tape and high flex spraypaint?

I doubt I'd go with as many layers, but I've been known to customize skateboards and bike frames in the past.

They are here, Pretty good shape, bindings are demos with movable toes so I can play with the mount.  Center line actually looks way back on these for my taste.  If someone wanted these dead center of skiing surface under foot they'd need to go + a lot!.  + 2.5 looks about where I usually like to be saddled back at.  But, I'll move them again if I don't like it there after trying them.  Maybe they underestimate the loss of surface with the tail turned up?

Better yet, did anyone make some turns on 999's on 9/9/09?
