Don't write Troy off yet.He is still playing at a very high level. I know he looked bad yesterday but I'm pretty sure the tape will show that he was not totally at fault. My question is would he bring anything in a trade? I think he would but I would hate to see it. A big part of the allure of Steelers Nation and the Steelers way is the Rooney do value loyalty and treat their players well within the frame work of a sound business plan and they win doing it. The reason folks still wear #75, #12, #59, #88, #86, #36 is because not only are they all time great players. They are all time great Steelers.
Do you change a formula that has been very successful over the last 4 decades or so to try to win now or do you stick with it.
This could be the worst season in that stretch but there are still 6 Lambardis in the case and 2 additional Super Bowl games played. Eight times to the big show in that span, how many other teams do it that way?
The other way is the Patriots way. They've traded for picks and took big name free agents and they are successful, no doubt.
