Women's WARM Ski Mittens

My wife has been having trouble with settling on a REALLY WARM pair of ski mittens.  She prefers mittens to gloves and wants one with the extended cuff that goes over the jacket sleeve.  Anyone out there have similar cold hand problems that you have found a mitten solution to??

I have a pair of Auclair H20 Heli mittens that I got at SkierShop when I was at Stowe last year.  You may ask Whiteroom about those.  Not cheap, but my hands never got cold!

I got a killer summer deal on some Hestra's with a gauntlet style cuff but haven't had a chance to use them yet.
Although our summer has been a bit cold, so who knows maybe I shoulda tried them.

Thanks.  I looked over previous threads as well.  Most often mentioned were the Hestra XCR Mitts.  Are those by any chance what you got over the summer?  If so, where did you get the deal?

and  dry them out at night, and disposable hand warmers

The key thing to me is not to have mittens that make your hands so warm they sweat.  I've found if my hands start feeling sweaty the insides might be "wicking" the sweat away while I'm skiing but once I go inside at lunch time there's some sort of "reverse wicking" that starts and I'm finding damp mittens at the end of lunch.  My leather Hestra mittens seem to be just the right weight.

This is the one I have:  http://www.backcountry.com/outdoorgear/Hestra-Leather-PrimaLoft-Mitt-Womens/HES0014M.html

My wife has Renaud's, (very poor circ in the hands); she's in the Black Diamond Women's Mercury Mitt. She uses a mitten liner and heater pacs and never gets cold hands. I have a pair and they are the warmest thing I've ever used.

To make a point, her hands turn purple in low 60ish weather out on our boat. These mitts really work. She goes to extremes to add to their initial warmth.

I'm sorry I didn't see this before now.
What i got was the C-Zone Power Mitt, and to be honest, when the deal arose I snatched it up, I'm not sure exactly how it came about.....
Sorry, I'm a little Blonde.

IIRC the mittens were listed for a little more than 70.00 and I got them about 40ish% off.

Thank for all the input.  We are going to try out the Black Diamond Women's Mercury Mitt.  We got a silly deal on them, so we shall see how it goes ...
