What size skis should I get?

I'm looking at the Line Prophet 100's in either a 172 or a 179 with Marker Barons.  I am 5'8" and 180 lbs.  I ski on the East Coast (mostly in Vermont and New Hampshire).  I ski aggressively on steeps, groomers, in trees, and in the occasional powder.  Light backcountry as well.  I am also considering the Volkl Bridges or Gotamas, or maybe you have other suggestions?

What do you think?

I'm not sure you want the 100s for east-coast snow, which I understand to be a bit more, um, solid, than out west. While they are plenty fun in firm snow, I find the p100s to be much better when there's something softer underneath them. If you're set on Prophets, maybe the 90s would be better. That said, at 180# I use the 179cm in Tahoe.

There are others here who can offer more skientific advice.

I Just decided on a pair of Bridges myself (with help from these fine people), and I too live out East. I ski very aggressively as well, although I am much more in the trees and powder myself. The Gotamas are a more powder and backcountry option, I'd go with the Bridges. I don't know much about the other 2, but that's my 2 cents.
