Much thanks to Dan for his clinic!

An open thank you to Dan and Eric. You guys rock. I signed up to get scared, pushed and to improve my game, you did not let me down once. I have never skied the steeps we skied, or jumped real cornices or skied chutes before your clinic but now have the confidence to take on that stuff.  I used to watch others and say, "I really wish I could do that" "I want to ski that"  you didn't just throw us into it, you taught us how to do it and provided that needed, "nudge" when you knew we could but our minds and fears said otherwise. I can't encourage others enough to take this clinic who may be in the same place I was, Age is not a factor, we had folks in their 60's who ripped and some who took those lines for the first time as well. Dan is an excellent leader, you never felt in danger and always felt he knew what he was doing; even if you are looking at a line and telling yourself, I don't belong here. You did it anyway. If you didn't already know, Dan is one of the best skiers out there, so save your pennies and do whatever it takes to get your self down there next year. It was worth every penny, every minute on the plane and every fall; as what you take away is priceless.

and yes, walking through airports with your boots in August is cool...

Thanks Dan

Ron

You don't have to go to S.A. to ski with Dan Egan--he's one of our EpicSki Academy coaches too!

Finn, I am extremely jealous and wish I'd have taken the bait to go, but alas, I'll have to live vicariously through you and wait to see Dan until Stowe.  Perhaps you'll join us, eh?

Dude, your TRs got me so amped up to go to ESA Stowe...  I may be a decent skier for how long I've been doing it, but I've never taken a lesson or recieved instruction so I am 100% committed to getting in the best skiing shape of my life just to take the most advantage I can.  It's alot of money, but I'm looking at it as an investment for sure.  It takes me a while to come up with $500 to spend on lessons, but I've been saving my ass off.  I'm not even gonna party while I'm there...  Ok, maybe just a little bit but I'll be actively avoiding bars, loose women and college camupses, which is...  uh...  A bit out of character for me.  Finn, are you thinking of coming to VT???

Well, why bother coming at all?

Seriously though, you'll love it. As of right now, I'm planning on trying to make it up although it might be difficult due to it being the one-year anniversary of my current relationship.

will have to see, I don't know if dan could take another week of me...

It would definitely be a great clinic and I know I can learn a lot more from Dan.

You want a reason to come to ESA Stowe?
I'll give you three.......
  • The snow has been better at Stowe than the Boat the past few years during that weekend
  • Dan Egan will be there
  • I'll be there!

Got those in exactly the wrong order
