Good luck. Getting in touch with Salomon is like getting in touch with Willy Wonka. I've been trying for years.

They must not want any business.

I'm meeting with Salomon reps on Monday night, I'll see what info I can get for you. What is it you're particularly interested in finding out about?

i was interested in sourcing a 09 Impact Pro in a 24 shell.  a client i have been training has ~the same shape (square) foot i have & has been raving about them.  website says they come down that small, yet no one carries them to try............

Phil tell me he may be able to help me into a Dalbello thou...
the impact pro does indeed go down to a 24 shell, if a shop carries the boot but not that size then they aren't that serious about their fitting
post #11 of 20
the idol is the same shape  (marketed as ladies)  try that on and see.

My store will have the impact in 24 again this year, but sorry, no deals avail on it  (as you know, it is hard to find)

I was interested in the 09 w/o all the custom shell stuff... Thanks
post #13 of 20
If you just want to buy them, let me know.  We should have our order coming in early Oct.

if you want to see if that shape works, try the idol on.  (all idols and all impacts are the same shell shape, just different bells and whistles)

The CS stuff allows more width, but not more instep height  (good for pancake feet, not for bricks) and makes it a bit faster to do what a good bootfitter can do anyways.   No down side, but I dont think that is the huge upside that salomon thinks it is.  Might be a help for lower end stores ?

I'm almost absolutely certain the rep will not want to give out his contact numbers to the general public.  If you work for a shop you should get the contact info from this guy looking for the boot, and order it for him.  Be proactive and make the sale.  If you're waiting for your pre-season shipment to arrive, pre-book the sale and hold it with a credit card.
It sounds like this person is a instructor looking to hook his client up on a pro form which is not so good for our industry.  If this person did not want a deal they would not be trying to contact Salomon directly.

Welcome to Epic.  Let me clear,  I am a Strength/Conditioning Coach.  My client, who has size 10 feet loves these boots.  I have size 6 / 24 mondo shell.  Everyone is blowing out the 09 boot w/o all the custom shell junk; like for under $300.  There are tons of 10/pros all over the web & even here in Killington.  Most shops stock down to a 25 shell.  I have been looking for a size 24 to try.
Not looking to do anything underhanded.  Just want to try a boot.  Salomon fails to even post an email on there site.  They were good to get back to me & say that all the 24 in last years are grabbed up & this years stock will go fast due to limited supply in my size.

thanks everyone & Salomon

Magic from google finds this:

http://www.salomon.com/us/contact.aspx

And no it isn't on what looks like one of the worst "professional" websites on the face of the earth, with broken links and misspellings.  My cat could have done better and he's been dead 20 years.
