I'll be in one Wednesday Aug. 26th.
Any ideas on what you'd like to see there?
I'll be pushing for a public access race course, and of course, the banning of snowboarders.
I can't remember a June like the last one in the 15 years I've been around here . I've seen some snowy ones, but seldom much rain. I do know that personal opinions on weather history are usually wrong though, and that actual statistics are much better.
No one has more statistics than Tony Crocker, who calls Bachelor "the best spring skiing on the continent" Hopefully he will chime in some more.
Let's get the word out, and keep the lifts running, rather than speculating on how weather might change.
Thanks James! Jacques is the same as James. I am stuck at Bachelor as I am a poor ski bum! Fun is what it's all about! Find me anytime at Skyliner parking. I'll do a turn with anyone!
Any kind of ESA depends on sorting out insurance / liability issues and having access to the mountain. Actually a late season ESA is attractive as many ski instructors are between seasons.
After the Mt. is "shut down" to the public there is usually some training things going on for a few more weeks and then some. Last season saw racers training and a park riders camp as well. Big bucks were spent in each case. The snow was getting thin and dirty, but they kept it spinning for those who had the time and bucks to invest.
BTW, Bachelor has a contest this season. Check it out. 15,000 dollars total prize value to the winner. Voters have a chance to win stuff each week too!
Please give me a vote there. Vote for the Sagina1999 entry under the "Most Votes" tab at the page. You too can enter from anywhere!
