Ott, I noticed a subtle technical point that is important: when you begin the left turn (skier's left), your left shoulder lifts slightly to counter. When the skis head right, your right shoulder lifts slightly. The opposite of this would be to have the left shoulder drop when engaging the left turn, a bad thing, since the downhill would lose edge pressure. Another thing is that your hands and elbows stay forward, and your pole plants appear to be a series of moves primarily through wrist action.
