ok, this skier did it.

I got fully bitten by the cycling bug.  And, then, my best friend's mom got Leukemia.  You know what that means?  Time to join Team in Training!  (Team in Training is the fundraising arm of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.  Athletes train for endurance events while fundraising for blood cancers research.)

I am currently training for the El Tour de Tucson (109-mile road race in Tucson, Arizona).  The race is on November 21st.
  • Anyone ridden that race?  What's it like?
  • Anyone live in that area and ride the local terrain?  Share your knowledge!
  • Anyone have awesome training tips for a century race?  Tell me, tell me!  :D

Thanks in advance for everything!!

Here's us after a 50 mile training ride in NY!  Smiles everywhere.
