where is it wrong?
well I can tell you....
its sucks pretty bad at wet rocks and roots
its doesnt shed mud good at all, although it grip tacky soft dirt fine
baby heads its sucks at, but then who willing rides loose rocks?
its also is the most flattable tire ever made when tubed. If your running it tubed your running to much pressure. Its easily seals up and stays sealed at sub 25 while ghetto tubeless. Running them tubeless really bring this tire to life.
Which FYI anyone who runs tubes opinion is null to me any more, NOONE that races WC events XC, super D, or DH runs tubes anymore. I dare you to find one example of a top 10er who runs tubes...
finndog doesnt like technical singletrack, does finndog not like technical singletrack because his setup sucks? or because he sucks? or both?
personally for where Finndog is riding(which is very close in terrain to where I ride) I would go 2.35 Blue groove front/2.1 Panaracer XC rear set up ghetto tubeless and run them at 30 psi for rails trails and 20-25 psi for trail riding. sure its slow on rail trails, but who cares? he is not racing anyone at all, and on trails it will roll faster than an overly inflated 'so called fast rolling" tires while giing him more control and confindence.
Its better to get yourself a pair of fast pedaling legs, then fast rolling tires IMO.
