What Are Your Favorite Ski Blogs?

Calling the EpicSki community!  We need your help!

On EpicSki, we now have the ability to share some content and links with our favorite ski blogs.  We're already working with a great blog called Feedthehabit.com to give you even more fun things to read.  But what other blogs are your favorites?  Which ones are YOUR go-to's?  Which would you like to see featured on EpicSki and vice versa?

Bring on the suggestions.

At this exact moment, we're currently working with blogs operated on the WordPress platform, but don't worry too much about that.  All we need to know is which are your favorite ski blogs and we'll take care of the rest of the research.

Wildsnow is integrated--check out Related Blog Posts, RH margin. (It comes in here because I tagged the thread "backcountry"--that's how the related blogs get related to a thread.)

If you need reviews of snowboard gear there is only one site:  http://www.shayboarder.com/    Shannon is respected by everyone in the industry.   They all know her and know she doesn't fluff over equipment.   If there's something wrong with it, she lets you know.

I'd like to humbly submit our blog for consideration:

What's with all the thread necromancy?

They're a bit more TGR than epic, but there's undeniably no shortage of stoke at: Famous Internet Skiers

Not sure if these guys are still active on this site, but if you're in the Tahoe area, they do a great job with most things they do.  And they keep you updated on how things are going during the winter.

Another fun one.

I started a blog last spring and will have more content as the season approaches. We also try to list some of the best ski and snowboard deals available to our readers. http://SteepAnDeep.com

One of the sites I like to visit is http://www.firsttracksonline.com/

My own recent effort in ski blogging is, naturally, what I'd like to succeed the most: http://www.ski-holidays-chalets.com/

Other than that I love to check out this one for resort picking and scouting: http://www.j2ski.com/

This one has a great community: http://skidazzle.com

+1 on F.I.S.  Love their site. The photos are great and Lionel's weather is spot on.

Also like thesnowway.com   Steve is a great guy and I like his reports.

This is mine:  http://www.skiershop.com/raisethebar/   a combination of information and stoke. It will be more 'conditions and stoke' in season, more product info right now.

We need to get some of these integrated into our site. Thanks for the recs!

I second skiingintheshower.com that trek chick mentioned.

i like Kate's thoughtfullness and writing. nolo, you may know her, but I think you'd enjoy it.

I was sick the other day, and trying to figure out what pow ski to buy my wife, and i ended up there reading her review on the Crush. from there, i was enjoying her thoughts, so i ended up reading for a 30min.

i also contacted her, and let  her know she should post her ski reviews on epic, as it seems like there is a shortage of reviews of womens product by high level femal skiers.

Cheers,

Holiday

The guys at Alpenglow Sports in Tahoe City, CA are great. They're back at it with their blog and are planning on launching a full blown website soon. They bc ski almost everyday of the week and are super friendly and modest too  Here's their blog: http://alpenglowsports.wordpress.com/ . They do a ton of stuff on Facebook too.

They're back at their blog, it died out kind of over summer.

Oh, that guy makes me feel like a total desk jockey. Which, basically, is what I am.
