9 Years Ago I Didn't Tell Her I Ski

9 years ago today I answered the most important questions of my life with "I do"  It occurred to me this morning that I don't think Joanne knew I was a skier when we met.  I lived in Texas then and wasn't really in "ski mode" at the time. It wasn't until about our fourth year that I started to gear up again for what is now my second passion in life.   Now that she does and because she has medical conditions that don't make skiing a good idea for her she serves as Lodge Mon among her other greatly appreciated functions with loving me back being the most important of course.

I hope look forward to more happy years with the woman I love.

Her name is Joanne.  She enables my skiing addiction.

Would she have understood what it meant if you had told her?

Thanks peeps

We wrangled a babysitter and went out.  Got a bit behind because the MrsMobile battery died while she was running errands after work, but it died in Sam's Club parking lot where we had a battery installed with no wait

A new car battery for our anniversary!  How romantic, eh?

OK we got some other stuff too

Better than a new iron.

And NO, I did not learn that from experience!

Congratulations (a bit late) and many, many more!

Belated congrats to you and Joanne. I didn't meet her or you children last year at Blue Knob and I'm sorry for that. I hope we can rectify that this season. I wish you many more happy years to come.
