'10 Icelantic Nomad SFT (Soft) - Page 2

"Not even close to a hellbent in softness. "

Yes, the tips and tails are silly soft, But, overall, the Hellbents aren't really all that soft. While a casual flex would make it seem so, flex them between about nine inches past tips and tails and they are fairly beefy Load'em up and they will reward you with a lot of pop.

dude, I own both and have skied both, since the SFT's aren't even on the market yet, what are you talking about?  HB's are noodles.

AND THEY'RE HEEEEEEERE!  along with those silly race skis.  I haven't been on non twin tips since twin tips came out (Atomic tweaks).   It's bugging me more and more that I didn't get the tape off for this picture, as I'm at work just staring at them.  I should also note that the race skis sliced my fingers twice as i was unpacking them.  Never fondled race skis before.  Quick lesson learned.

Thanks for giving em up amigo!  They're in a good place.  They are pretty flexy.  Hopefully that helps me blow sh** up like a powder gangster.

ohh yeahhh booyyyeeee

soft tips and tails, stiff underfoot and very stiff torsionally which is key,,,

you'll love 'em.   Very easy skiing fat ski.  They throw ridiculously funny over-sized rooster tails (seriously, burying you're friends in snow never gets boring-my favorite was on a slushy spring corn day knocking my wife and 3 of her friends clean out of their skis with a well-timed sheet of thrown snow from these skis...it was really funny-for me).

Some like them even on harder snow--but not me.  For soft snow playing and cruising they're hard to beat!

I've made note of your advice to go 100% weight on the outside ski on them.  And I certainly hope I do.  The 1080's are just kinda meh, everywhere, except the bumps I'm told.
