WTB - midfat / groomer bias / 175cm +/-

Looking for a midfat in the 170 - 175cm range for a friend who is an intermediate but increasingly enthusiastic skier, 6'2" and 180 lbs.  Prefer groomer bias not soft snow, and short to mid-range radius, since he's mostly if not entirely skiing with young kids on smaller east-coast hills.  I was thinking something like a mid-range Elan Magfire, Dynastar Contact, Volkl AC, Nordica Hotrod, etc.

Not much on offer lately due to the season I suppose but if you want to clear some gear let me know.  If the bindings is a fixed mount (i.e., not an adjustable system ski like the Railflex etc.) please let me know what size boot or BSL it's mounted for.

Thanks.

How about a Magfire Magma in a 168?

What took you so long Phil?

If I understand correctly that the Magma = Magfire 14, it might be a little stiff for him.  He doesn't have any technical background and is now just cruising with his kids on ancient Atomic 9.18's (first generation) about 10 days a season, so I was thinking something a little more midrange.   he's strong (big bike rider) and at 180 lbs maybe could handle it at the 168 cm length, so it's definitely in the running.  What condition is the ski in and what would you ask for it?

I have a pair of Dynastar Inspired (110/ 89/117), 178, mounted with railflex plate, no bindings, pretty good condition 50$ plus shipping.

pm for pics if you're interested.

Condition in very good with maybe about 8-10 demo days on them. $300.00 shipped.

Pass on these for the friend.

But damn that's a nice deal especially if someone already has some railflex bindings in the house.

Thanks.
