I got it in the mail last week, is it time to start thinking about 09-10 season aready? I flipped through the pages and thats about it so far. I've still got some summer left.

Gonna be a 'traveling' year for me. 'Dislocated' by company to Abilene Texass (yes, two ss'). Have to commute for refreshers and hopefully get in lots of 'holiday' patrolling.

Looking forward to getting my refresher guide and lounging by the pool at 100+ degrees, LOL!

You will be back this way by winter I hope. We got some turns to share. Stay cool. That means stay inside or get it done early and late.

Hey GarryZ, I'll be back each month. Looking for a
'longggggggggg' trip in December/January. These 100 degree days are killing me.

Well, 3 refreshers (CPR, Chair Evac, and OEC) are now complete. I now need to get the ski's out of storage, scrape the excess wax from the bases, check and lub the bindings, sharpen the edges. And wait for snow. Still need the toboggan refresher (snow required) - probably go look at/for new skis, got the pro form date (for patrollers and instr's.) from the local ski shop. Another season and I'm getting ready. Hell maybe even excited!

You're lucky you got the Instructors Guide when you did, Steve.  I was going through the Cycle B refresher material last week when I saw the advice to get the Instructor Guide form the NSP web site. Went there and found they've now limited access only to certified instructors. Not a popular move, per comments on Members Forum.

BTW we had our refresher last weekend. Spent an hour and half in the rain for chair evac, woke up yesterday w/first nasty cold of the season. I'm already paying for it, so "C'mon Snow!"
