Go to your own profile page and look below your profile information.
There is an area there with a line.  Just below that line there is a link for "edit forum signature"
There you go.

Nah TC, he can't. They're for supporters and sponsors only. Just noticed that and pointed it out to him in another thread.

You'd think I would have noticed that before I posted.  Sometimes I'm sooooo blonde.

Didn't miss them at all. Often they look like reader boards to promote personal commercial interests. Some of the lines are thoughtful or amusing but mostly they clutter up the threads .

Do we still have the option to have them not visible if we wish ?

Skibum185 and others,

We have adopted the following policy on signatures to recognize the financial contribution of our supporters and sponsors:

Members may post up to three lines of text in their signature file.

Supporters may post up to three lines of text plus live links in their signature file. Commercial links are not allowed.

Sponsors may post up to three lines of text and live links plus images in their signature file. Commercial links are allowed. [Images and complete editing tools will be available soon.]

To edit your forum signature, navigate to the My Profile tab.  Below your image gallery, you will see a section called "Your Forum Signature."  Below that is the "Edit Signature" button.  Click here, format your signature (text, links, bolding, and italics only), and click save.

How do you hide them?

AFAIK, Newfy, we don't have the means to hide signatures or otherwise ignore users or their input (other than our own personal attention management).

Self control?  You cannot be serious.  I read anything in front of me, even cereal box ingredients.  Aggh, cute little comments, over and over and over.  Let's all put in that Warren Miller thing about if you you don't do it this year.....

We certainly want to give users the ultimate in tools to customize their experience at EpicSki, including what you request, but we are working down a development list that is re-prioritized (and added to) fairly frequently. I hope you see what has been done so far as encouragement of our intent to keep on iterating until we get it right.
