Thanks.

Remember, if it wasn't for your mother, would your father be your father, so remember your mother on fathers day.

I love my wife & mom, but this is our day! and every few years like this one my b-day also.

Their day was in May.

Spending the afternoon on the golf course with my Dad.

Best advice he ever gave me was:

Never pass up a chance to learn something new, or take a new adventure.

Happy fathers day to all the dads out there.

My Dad started me skiing. And for that -- and for tons of other things -- I'm eternally grateful.

Happy Father's Day, Dads!

I wish my dad was here to thank personally. If he was, I'd thank him for passing along the love of all sports, particularly skiing, sailing, golf, tennis, and basketball, and the wisdom that I'm not a good enough player to get mad about my game. He was more fun to ski with than anyone, always going to the last chair, counting the punches on his ticket at the end of the day just like us kids.

Huh?

Um, Phil, that's what Mother's Day is for.

Lest we also not forget the Mothers who have recently become Fathers and the gifts that the Fathers who are now Mothers have placed before you.

Did we miss anyone ?  Also, those that find themselves in transition from one to another. Happy Father's Day to all that this term might apply to at one time or another in their lives.

I think we got it covered Phil. Thanks for the thought .

Backatcha Berthoud Pass

Hope our Dad’s day was awesome for all on a June 21st that gave dads the longest day of celebration.

For my day alone with my two daughters (24 & 18) I spent a lot of time listening to them both as they were cross talking while hiking on a great CO afternoon in Roxborough park.  Good Lord…the stories and perspectives they have regarding their youth.  So many things I have forgotten or have somehow overlooked.  Apparently I was quite a character as well as more significant to them then I ever realized [no better gift I have ever received]

I realized as I was huffing up that damn trail following those two whippets…I sure love them both and will hope they will always remind me of those many stories each Father’s day as I grow older.  Thank you daughters!
