I made a critical error on Saturday.
I was having a few minor issues with shifting on my Trek Liquid25 during a ride. The usual adjustments weren't working and I figured that something needed attention by someone a teensy weensy bit more accomplished at bike repair/maintenance than I am.
Sooooooo, I stopped by the bike shop before heading home and asked them to take a quick look to asses the possibilities. Looks like maybe, perhaps, there could be something wrong with the front derailleur.
(I'd make the long story short, but I'm not sure the story is done yet.)
The "shop guy" lifted my Liquid on the stand and said, "holy cow, I forgot how heavy these were. You should demo the Fuel"
He promptly put my Liquid on a scale to weigh it in,
Then we weighed the Fuel
Sooooooooo, I demoed an 08 Fuel EX8.
So my mind is reeling with pros and cons for dumping the Liquid and getting the Fuel.
Please help cloud my judgement, or clear it up, whichever you prefer.
