Look PX12 or Rossignol SAS2 120 Binding

I've found these 2 bindings for the same price and was wondering if one is any better than the other. I've read around that they are essentially the same binding. Which would you buy?

Edit: Actually, on second thought... I thought they were the same, but looking at them online, it looks like the SAS2 does not have the floating AFD that the Axial2 and the PX12 have.  I don't know if there are any other minor differences.

I bet they're close enough to each other that it doesn't matter much.  If you're mounting on new Rossi skis, buy the Rossi's to get the warranty extension.  Otherwise, buy whichever.

Pretty much what jaobrien6 said...

Except that since Look, Rossi, Dynastar, and Roxy bindings have only cosmetic differences, they have the same hole patterns.  Which means that if you need to send them back for warranty work, they should be treated identically.

Oh, so Rossi will give you the 1 year extension if you mount Look bindings?  It makes sense, but I always assumed that they'd be sticklers about it and only do it for Rossi branded bindings.

Thanks for the info! Guess I'll go with the Rossi since I have Rossi boots.

They should, if only because the ski will go back to Rossignol without bindings on it.  The hole patterns, obviously, will match.  I haven't tried it, though, so I can't guarantee.  YMMV.

I hope that either you're joking or this is a question of cosmetics.

And I chuckle at the fact that, TTBOMK, Rossignol manufactures neither; it rebrands Look bindings and Lange boots.

It wasn't a question, I was stating that since they are the same I might as well get the one that matches (cosmetically) with my boots!

I believe Rossi has matching underwear as well...rebrands of Victoria Secret stuff....hot!

Check it out...
