I would second sunpeak's suggestion to try out the Salomon Lady skis. For what it's worth, my 14 year-old daughter (5' 6", 115 lb) just demo'ed them and absolutely loved them. She tried these skis, and preferred them in descending order.

She felt the Salomon Lady skis were easiest to turn, held well on hard-pack, and didn't chatter at higher speeds. We were skiing at Squaw Valley basically all over the mountain (Headwall, KT-22, Siberia Bowl, Granite Chief), down mogul runs, in the trees, in powder (or what passes for powder here in the Sierras). And the conditions were decent (it snowed a day or two earlier).
