I think the Peaks and Icons look pretty smart. SS's, i.SL, i.Speed etc. still look great. And I'm okay with the Jimi/Richie/John/Other-bloke graphics - wouldn't put me off buying them.

Call me weird, but I actually though the recent Monsters all looked really good too - even the wife approves of the 07/08 im78 topsheet.

Actually the 88 is the only one that has lost a sheet of metal. I had heqard the "neuter" story as well. At the Demo's our rep (new this year) had heard it also but could neither confirm nor deny. We could tell the 88 had lost some power but the 78 and 82 seemed the same. He looked into it and the 78 and 82 are unchanged except for the graphics. I have since confirmed this with numerous sources including the head of Head USA. However I did stock up on closeout for this fall on both the 78 and 88 as I like the old graphics better. Couldn't get more 82's so I had to go with the new version. After reading this thread I think I did the right thing!

Bob, will it come with a pint of Southern Comfort?

You are right, but in certain light they look black.

The MOJO 94 is Dark Purple. I would call it Eggplant. (I wish it were black)  with Winter White snowflakes and Red MOJO 94.

More like a Rorschach on the Mojo 94.

Most of the freeride ski graphics are ugly in a juvenile way, Head just managed to move it to the kindergarten-juvenile level with the Fisher-Price colors splattered over the skis...  But, hey, everyone makes mistakes.  Even Dynastar graphics next season has some near-misses- at least based on the posted pictures next year Mythic has these ugly blood-like streaks or red on the tail, as if the ski just ran over a mean squirrel...

I must be going colorblind, because to me in almost EVERY light they look black - particularly when I look at them through my goggles.

Does Southern Comfort make stickers?

I think Janis always had a pint in her back pocket.
