Binding history

A friend gave me some Salomon 850S bindings. I looked them up and they're still on the list. What surprised me was that they have the toe height adjustment. Haven't seen that in a while. When did that go the way of the dinosaur?

a lot of single pivot toes still have them, Salomon Drivers and the Look/Rossi. You want .5mm between the boot and the AFD.  With the boot in the binding, pull the cuff backwards, you should have just enough room to slide a credit card thick piece of plastic between the boot sole and AFD. At that point, adjust toe height accordingly.

Thanks, I remember the drill. Guess my quiver has had mostly Railflex and Markers recently, though I just mounted some Axials. No height adjustment on them either.
