Not much stoke here in awhile? I've had some great rides between rain storms, but today was finally like a real spring day, the funny thing is that summer is only a few days off.
I call this ride South Skyline Loop. It is just under 30 miles total length, but the pay off is the last 10 miles or so provide a really fast, steep descent.
This is the route in 2 photos. Top photo goes north through the valley with a few miles of pavement, The rest is singletrack. Then up the climb & back to the south. 2nd photo continues to the south & back along the lake to the start point marked with a black X.
Up through the forest.
Ben Lomond Pk. to the north is another awesome 30 mile loop with bigger vertical. Needs a few more weeks till it will be good to ride.
Still some snowfields just below the ridge.
Mt. Ogden, DeMoisey & Strawberry to the south.
First day to see some wildflowers. They should've been blooming 5 weeks ago!
The lake is looking nice & full.
