K2 Hellbent

Thread Starter

Anybody ride the K2 Hellbent this year.  Im looking for a powder ski that can handle the chop in the afternoon and a few runouts on groomed terrain thoughout the day.  I've heard this ski handles pretty well but if anyone has skied them give me your oppinion

Another topic never before discussed. Nope, no fresh reviews posted this past week. No older discussions. Nope. No sireeeee.

Never even heard if it.  K2?

Who's K2?  Does he post here?

These teenagers  are joking with you because the K2 Hellbents have been covered several times on these threads. And like simple minds, they are bored by your request and entertain themselves by posting a "funny" reply.

But your inquiry show a lack of complete informative ski reviews by any source. The magazines will spend several days testing a bunch of skis but write very little detail about individual skis. Much of the time you can't even figure out what the tester is writing when they use their own jargon comments. Their purpose is to sell ad space, which is fine but don't expect to learn much about skis from their reviews. Same for this website.

Reading the reviews and opinions in the mags and on this website leads me to realize that an individual needs to demo the skis they are interested in. One could read the mag reviews and the comments on this site to narrow your choices down so you don't have demo 30 skis.

The magazines and this website are for your entertainment purposes.

Definitely a lot of reviews on the Hellbents.  Check out TGR as well.

Other skis that I would consider in the same category of Hellbents:

DPS 120

Lhasa Pow

Praxis RX

4Frnt EHP

Moment Ruby

Liberty Double Helix

JONG!  JONG! JONG!

Thanks for the teenager remark, FWIW, I'm 45!

Sorry, but I meant mentally , which you have just validated what you are. Thank you for your juvenile remark - "Jong, Jong, Jong". Only a teenage mind responds so intellectually.

But your lower life forms are around by the millions which is ok. You do provide something to laugh at.

You are going to have a  long and happy time around here. Cheers and welcome! You made my day. Greg, share the popcorn dude!  Please take this thread to a much more serious and adult posting center, like TGR or perhaps the author could use the search function first rather than create uneccessary threads.

I'd defer to TGR in this case:   http://www.tetongravity.com/forums/

A nice way to warmup to the many here who regularly post and read reviews by many true expert skiers and those with a lot of knowledge.  I can't wait to read your 6th post....

we aren't bored, we are annoyed by the posting,

Nothing lke a bunch of guys sitting in their underwear typing on a computer, peeing on their bedposts to mark their territory, being brave as a group. Rattle their cage and LOOK OUT!

Now that ski season is more or less over things seem to be degenerating quickly around here.

Hey, I tried before!  :)

Mud, yeah, you're right.  As the snow gets slushy.......

tcomfort asks a simple question

You respond "Who's K2? Does he post here?"

Do you include yourself in the "expert skiers and those with a lot of knowledge" group?

Why poke fun at tcomforts question?

You say you are bored at the question, so why respond?

rip, its up!

Well, I love my Hellbents. They are perfect for what they are designed for, powder and switch stuff, but they also are real good for choppy powder, and I acutally enjoy taking them into the park and rippin groomers with them. They are awful in hard moguls and ice, but I try not to ever ride on that, so thats not a problem.

Here's a vid of some buddies and I (w/hellbents on).
