I think I read another indoor ski area is planned for Dubai, and supposedly it is to be even larger! There was a special on the construction of SKI DUBAI on a channel like the Discovery Channel -- it was quite an undertaking.

 

You would never have to worry about skiing in flat light . I suppose having consistent conditions at all times though could almost take some of the charm out of skiing, although I would still like to try it.

I've skied Dubai, the only consistency about the conditions, are that they're consistently bad....

I do a lot of my skiing in the Midwest so I can't imagine it can be any worse than a 10 degree day after a stretch of 60 degree temps with no new snow and a broken groomer.
