Hi everyone. From what I've read, thus far, I believe I need to get my boots stretched, just a little bit. But, I thought I would post here and see if I could get an expert opinion before heading to the shop.
I've had Salomon HB Performa boots for about a year and a half now (skiied in them 2 seasons). The first season, they fit great after packing out a bit and I never had any soreness. This season, though, after skiing a long day (ie. 8-9 hours, skiing hard), I get very sore bruises on the bones on the outside of my foot directly behind and to the outside of pinky toe. This seems to be the only point that I can really feel too much pressure from my boot, but it is causing intense pain at the end of the day when the boot is removed, and often for several hours (up to a day) after. I also find that I notice it more when I stop skiing for more than 10 minutes (ie. waiting in a long lift line or stopping for lunch) or when landing small jumps.
I'm wondering what the cause could be and what I could do to remedy the situation. It is possible that my feet grew, slightly. I am 22 years old, so I suppose there is a chance that I've grown.
Some other information, my shoe size is 10.5 - 11, my boots are size 27.5.
Thanks to any and all advice in advance,
