I noticed something interesting about my boots - when I look at them head-on, the inside "edges" of the boot have little nicks that look like the skis have been chopping into them. Basically the nicks run all the way up to the midpoint of the cuff.
When I say the inside of the boot, I don't mean physically inside of the boot where the liner is - rather, in the same sense as the inside edge of a ski.
Do you find this on your boots as well? I tend to ski with a narrow stance, believing that you get high edge angles through lots of flexion rather than skiing wide. But how narrow is too narrow? Am I liable to start slicing into my leg if I get any higher edge angles?
