Ski and my shadow...

Has anyone ever noticed that a great way to see how well (or not well) you are skiing, is to ski in the early morning sunshine on a trail that the sun is behind you... Watching your shadow can provide some pretty good self critique.

It really only works in short turns, and then it only tells where your hands are, and how much angulation is going on. Still, it's fun. Try it in the bumps.

I'll steal a peek once in a while, but just to make note of arm position, and angulation (as previously mentioned). More often than not, I'm moving at a pretty good clip, and taking my eyes off the terrain ahead is not a good idea. :
