Swix World Cup Graphite SG/DH poles, New & Unused

These are Swix World Cup Graphite Downhill and Super G "speed" poles. 125cm long. Beautiful bend shape for optimal tuck. Slight bend below grips brings hands into proper position in front of face. These have never been used. One strap has been "swapped" with another pole, and looks to have been used a couple of times. One small {1" long} surface rub on one pole, otherwise perfect. For whatever reason, some feel that the blue poles were a touch stiffer and stronger than the current red poles {which makes no sense to me!}. The cost about $140, and the best new price available is about $90 with shipping.

$65 including shipping to the lower 48. PayPal is OK. PM me for more info, pics, etc. Thanks.

Any speed skiers out there? We don't need a 125cm pole. These are perfect. Great poles. It will cost me at least $10 to ship, and I'd like to come close to clearing $50.

Any interest at $60, shipped?  Pre-season deals!!!

Thanks!!

No skis for sale right now. Haven't gotten there yet. Haven't even thought about it.  And we really won't have any to "dump". What may be for sale is the very best stock made by a couple of companies.

I really would love to find a home for these poles. I keep moving them around in my basement. Now that the kids are back to school, I guess I can stick them in one of their rooms! Personally, I like the older blue better than the newer red. And these are nice speed poles. Great bend, and stiff for a nice start. Any one??

Thanks.

I am interested in the poles though I usually use a 120 cm.  Does anyone think that the 5 cm will make a big difference in a speed pole?

I actually use 125cm poles for everything except DH/SG, which I use a 135 in. I actually prefer the longer poles (easier to get out of the gate, and more balance when you aren't in a tuck). I'd say these would be fine for you.

I would say {and not because I'm trying to sell them!} that most racers use a DH pole that's a touch longer than their GS. 5 cm is probably pretty normal. Since you don't plant the pole, you won't notice. Advantage is the start and a bit more leverage to pull. These poles can be shortened, if needed, as well. Thanks.

Agreed, if these were 130 I would have been on top of them.  I use a 125 for all other events but find that the 125 DH pole, while perfect for SG  is marginally short fro DH and makes it a little more difficult to tuck as well
