Wow not much interest in bears here on Epic.  Go figure

not to be a downer but there are much more dangerous characters on skis at huntah then those bears.....

like..... richie-rich?

Nice video of the bears and Huntah trails. Perhaps the 7 minute length keeps people away?

First video I've ever seen of bears on an open ski trail.

I guess they know they have the right of way.

Those bears seem to think that too many warning signs have over-homogenized the ski experience.

Seriously, its worth finding the bears in the middle of the video.  They are great.   I like the one cub wrestling with the big chunk of snow.

We Bears are a rowdy bunch.

Sorry dont know richie rich but have enjoyed many of his post.  particualry one he did of the heads.

I was actually referring to the great glut of folks at Huntaaaaaaaaaaah who "SWI", the huge numbers of beginners who think its fun to go on expert slopes, the huge number of beginners who think its fun to ski out of control on any slpe thereby endangering others, the huge numbers of all of the above who are forced to flow into that one large open trail on the front face making it look like a bumper car run; the massive lift lines where yahoos like to step on others skis, cut the lines and generally act like asses; The thousands of tour buses filled with kids who are unchaperoned (which is OK if you know where  or how to ski-but most don't); the numbers of skiers with too large back packs affecting thier control-I mean come on, when was the last time you needed a avi gear/shovel at hunter?

And the ultimate danger akin to avi control at LCC-the alleged snow- and snow making aka grooming. Worst ever.

The only possible redeeming factor other then the bears is that the allman brothers now play at hunter in once a year. However, there is not much snow during the summer jamfest

Hope all you hunter fans take this as tongue and cheek which is hard to come across sometimes on the web.

I like that bear video a lot.  Reminds me of the way I behave at the beginning of the season, rolling around, eating snow, etc.  If I had a bear suit people would probably film me too.

You definitely need to submit that video into the contest I'm having for fun on my webpage

http://tinyurl.com/cedtyk

There's no prize, just for fun and bragging rights. Considering I'm going to be the judge, I'd say you'd be the "leader in the clubhouse" to borrow the golf term.

I need to show my kids your video, they'll love it. (Although my two-year-old did request to see "Daddy skiing" on the computer yesterday, I've got him trained. )
