SOLD.

I’ve skied these since late February 07 and they are a fantastic ski. I can honestly say that they helped me refine my skill. They are a great front side carving ski and even good for medium fall-line turns. The skis are in very good condition with only 2 minor gouges on the base of one ski and both gouges are at the tip. No major blemishes on the top sheet and only minor scuffing on the bindings.

Paid 800.00,

Asking 300.00 USD item location Canada

Yes I do.

(PLEASE SEE COMMENTS BELOW ON MY EXPERIENCE WITH HOBCHUB)

I skied on these 2 yrs ago as demo skis on a horribly icy day  -- incredible!
I've been looking for them since.    Do you still have the 168s?  Any idea on costs for shipping down to Pennsylvania?
What size boot do you use (want to make sure no re-drilling is required)?

 Yes, I still have them.

You won’t have to worry about fitting the boot, you just match up your boot length (usually marked in mm on the base of the boot) with the corresponding numbers on the binding. The binding expands or contract in seconds it’s that simple. Then take the skies to a ski tech and have the din setting adjusted.

If you PM me with your zip code I’ll get a shipping cost for you.

(too new to PM at this point -- just learned of the site recently)

My zip code: 17601

I saw in your profile that you ski 20-30 times a year.
Although the pictures look great, would you say that these skis are more than just "gently used?"  How roughed up are they?

I would say “gently used” best describes their condition. The most amount of scuffing is on the bindings as shown in the photos. I have tried to capture the true condition of the skies in the photos and did not edit the images other than to brighten the contrast. The top coat on these skies were surprising durable.

I will get a cost for shipping to your zip code on tuesday at the latest.

Okay -- this sounds good.  Will look for a response on Tuesday and will be able to PM at that time.

I HAVE PURCHASED THESE SKIS AND FOUND THEM TO BE IN EQUAL OR BETTER SHAPE THAN DESCRIBED BY HOBCHUB.  VERY PLEASED.  HE DELIVERED THEM QUICKLY, EVEN PUT A COAT OF WAX ON PRIOR TO SHIPPING.

WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND FOR FUTURE PURPOSES!!!
