Sitting neatly below an ad for Hyatt Residence Club Grand Aspen, and abutting another ad for Fox Crossing Aspen "A neighbourhood of 20 brand new luxury homes" ....

 

... is this story of hunger and desperation in Colorado:

Living the dream, first time I have ever come across it, this quote kinda gives it to you.


 

" Last winter I was totally ‘LTD.’ Now I’m just tryin’ to ‘L,’ y’know.”

Reguardless how many people are loosing their jobs and homes, there are still plenty of filthy rich who have lost a few million but still have plenty  to splurge on stuff like this.

 

For many, living the dream means having a place of warmth and a table with food on it.

 

And still, people just go about their business without compassion.

If only those evil rich had spent their days skiing and doing drugs like everyone else we could all be equally poor now.

Is there something amusing we should know about Mike Kaplan?

I've met many people in skiing who I'd describe as perfect, but never a CEO.
