Just purchased a slightly used pair of Fischer Kehuas - the 92mm waisted twintip predecessor to this years Watea 94 - and need bindings for them - am looking for recommendations. They are the widest/fattest skis I have ever owned and I realized, after lining them up next to some of my other skis, that the skinnier binding/brake combos which seem to fit my narrower-waisted skis....aren't sufficiently wide to go around these (at least, the brakes aren't).
So - and perhaps this is a foolish question but it's been a year or two or three since I've bought skis - are there wide/fat-ski specific bindings that work better with a wider-waisted ski like my Fischers? And - since my budget is a little on the limited side - are there any bargains from the last year or two which anyone can recommend or suggest?
Thanks for any and all info/suggestions/recommendations.
P.S. Anyone have an ideal used pair of semi-fat bindings lying around in the garage that they're not using???!!!!
