Willamette Pass has been in a cycle the last 3 weeks where every Sunday we get 6-10" inches of powder. You have to ski it as it falls as the next day (or hour) the temp could shoot up into the 30s and it turns to mush. Today however was like a mid-winter day. Light powder (at least for the Cascades). Excellent tree skiing and playing on Willamette's steep but short runs.  Highlight for me was my 8yr old son who is in his first year of snowboarding shredding the powder. It was as much fun tagging along with him on the blue runs as it was me getting to sneak away for a few runs of my own.
