Ric, looking forward to meeting you, Rio too!

TC I'll ski sweep with you.  By the way it was snowing when I arrived there should be lots of pow to keep speeds down tomorrow.  I'm just now getting settled into my room, but I'll be there at 9 one way or another.  Looking forward to meeting you all.

The end of day snow report for today said 15  to 18 inches fell from the previous end of day.  The day started out good and became epic towards the end as the snow piled up.  The snow was great, the terrain was great and the company great.  The only downer was everyone forgot to pay their two-bits for the tour (probably because I only showed them about an eighth of the mountain.)

The snow was incredible, and Rio's knowledge of where to find the best lines for this gang was priceless!

Rio, you are a great guide and a patient man!

Rio Touring TR Pre BigSky ESA!

Rio, was unfortunate in that he didn't make any money off of picking up my yard Sales.

I feel doubly fortunate to have met up with him.  Truly a great individual and a knowledgeable guide.

To top it all off, he loaned me his daughters Gotamas so I could play in the powder with something over 100 under foot.  Whooo Hooo! Rio, I can't thank you enough for your generosity and your kindness!

Here are some pics from Sunday Pre ESA!

Tricia, didn't you know you are supposed to ski in the powder, not above it?  Or were you just training for a James-like launch?

Looks like you were having fun.

Says the man in the ultimate whiteroom.

I must say, if you're going to catch air, the landing is soft and sweeeeeet!

I must say, that your form shows that you have balanced and aligned poles.  Without those, I doubt you would be so centered over your skis.

It's those 100-under-foot Goats, didn't you know that wide skis make you float when there's powder?

Nice pix Tricia -- love the shot of Rio.

Perhaps we should contribute Tricia's pic to the wide ski's thread...

^^ Not a good idea!....not sure what that would add to the 'discussion'.

Nice pic of Tromano on the Praxis.

The photo of Rio should be sent off to Nordica for a pair of something!  Great shot.

Photo above of Aleph, where's the left ski? I can't remember if he bought it on that sequence, but prediction from the photo would be he caught the tree.

I did get a good sequence of philpug buying it, but it was on his camera.....
