My timing sucks...

I've skied Spring conditions for 3 weeks straight on all kinds of crappy snow and now Ullr decides dump on the Colorado front range and I can't go skiing tomorrow (two major meetings that can't be rescheduled).  Argh.

Do you think us East Coasters are REALLY feeling sorry for you as we watch our seaon melt away?

I have had the worst timing all season.  Had a decent amount of days...but my work timing has literally mean the weeks between every trip it has dumped...and been almost bone dry on each of my 4 trips.  Trip number 5 starts late this week...I freaking hope to turn my luck around.  Its been quite frustrating.

Hey, Noodler--don't worry--there's more snow in the forecast!

The skiing at Keystone today was some of the best we've had all season. Keystone itself--the front side--did not get much snow, but on North Peak and the Outback, the snow pounded all day, and it's forecast to continue into the evening.

It's about time!

Best regards,

Bob

I'm going to have to side with John V. on this one. No sympathy.

As an east coaster I feel your pain - our season (NJ/PA) is done (unless you want to get out your rock skis and do some dirt skiing).   Enjoy the rest of your ski season - remember us east coasters when you feel the need to complain about your ski conditions.

Cheers,

Mary Jane was great this afternoon and promises to be better tomorrow.  I'll make some turns for you!

I do feel for you - we had a bit of season like that in 2006/7 (Keystone) and we have had a pretty average season so far here - but with 4.5' of amazing powder in the last week I was so tired that I needed to take a day off - awesome.
