Boot dryer bad for boots?

Will this boot dryer (Dry Guy Thermanator) hurt my boots (Salomon Falcon 10)?

I'm concerned that if the heating element is in contact with my heat-moldable liner in any spot for hours it will make a depression.

I doubt it, but you can look for a different style if you're concerned -- these in-boot models work well for me:

I use the Hotronics boot dryer and LOVE it.  It gets *barely* warm, and best of all - NO BOOT STINK!!

I doubt if it would be a problem but I have similar heaters and I always put mine inside a doubled over sock to prevent direct contact with the liner.

Removed post... I thought that was an air system.

I don't know how hot that gets, but I dislike the direct contact with the heated elements.

I use one like this: http://www.ski-depot.com/miva/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=THERMAIR2&Category_Code=BOOTACC&Product_Count=5

Blows air roughly 20 degrees C warmer than ambient temperature. Easy to bring on trips to anyplace that has electricity.
