Frozen hard with a thin coating in the morning. Warmed up and softened up beautifully after noon.

The shade - along Heuga, Belt, etc stayed hard and fast all day.

Hellgate was fine all day. Cliff started to get skied off, rutted, tracked. Heuga was very icy, but soft due to warm temps.

Racers was a frozen hell of glare ice, Eisenhower was good; Gun Hill had hard pack and a clearly marked soft spot where the spring passes under it; Kennedy got very slushy, but not as bad as the quagmire just below midsation, which you have to pass through to get to Eisenhower, Gun Hill, Kennedy, etc.

Very good coverage on many trails, with huge bare spots on the sides. Should be great all weekend and into the early part of next week.
