Volkl Tigershark 10ft 07-08 vs Volkl Tigershark 10ft 08-09

Is there any difference between these 2 years? I did demo the 08-09 in Vail last week and I love the skis.

Found 07-08 on Ebay for $363 which is a great deal imo.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

The $363 skis you found on Ebay is from "Alpine Sporting Goods".  I bought a pair of 168cm Tigershark 10 Foot from them two weeks ago when their price was $394.  Skis arrived a week ago in perfect condition.  If I'm not mistaken, Alpine Sporting Goods is selling them without a warrentee (to get the really low price they offer), so take good care of them if you buy a pair.

To answer your question, is there any differnce: if there is, it is probably pretty minor.  Like you, I demo'ed the 08-09 ski last December and really enjoyed them.

Hmmm.... I was going to ski something different today, but maybe I should take the new Tigersharks out for a test spin...

I just bought the skis. Now all I need is boots. Atomic Hawx 110 or 120 and I'm ready to hit the slopes.

Thanks guys. :)

I got the skis now and marker bindings as well. The binding is unmounted. Anyone has any experience with with mounting Marker IPT bindings onto Volkl Tigershark skis? It looks like very easy task to do. There are rails on the skis and looks to me  bindings just slide in. I'm not sure though so I wouldn't want to mess something up.

Help is appreciated.

honestly go to a shop and pay them to do it...

if you dont know what youre doing, which your obviously dont, youre basically taking your safety into your own hands to save a measly $20..

Believe me I would.I called our only local shop and believe it or not they no longer sell or service ski gear.

Once the winter season ended they redo their shop and sell patio furniture untill September.

Btw they charge $50.

My guess is it's the exact same skis except the switch.
