I've read all the official stuff, but there's nothing like a bit of local lack of bias.
Well, it's not exactly ATM, but I skied Snowbird last Saturday with AltaSkier and others and the skiing was very good. Considering that it was barely the middle of November, I'd call it excellent. We skied the Cirque most of the time because the snow there was so good we didn't see much reason to go elsewhere.
We clipped a few buried rocks here and there, but for the most part there was plenty of coverage and you could ski *almost* anywhere you wanted. It's been snowing off and on since I was there and they've got a pretty good snowstorm going right now.
All in all, it's the best early season conditions I've seen in the past eight winters. I can't help but think you'll have fun.
