I ended up getting a pair of Fischer Vision Zeals (159) for my GF and am now looking for some bindings for them. She is 5'2", 120 lbs., level 6. Her DIN is set currently at 5.5.
I was thinking of putting Railflex bindings on them; one of the following:
The first 2 use the Railflex Lite plate while the last one seems to use a regular Railflex 2 plate. All of them have the "SL Lite" toe and heel. The Lite plate is quite a bit thinner than the RF2 plate and is supposed to be easier to flex for lighter skiers. It is the model that comes on most of the Fischer women's skis. The Head RF One 9 looks like it has a "speedrail" and uses the regular Railflex plates and is what is used on most Head women's skis. It is also a bit heavier (1860g. vs. 1470g.).
Alternatively I could use one of the men's models with the heavier but stronger SL and LD toe and heel pieces.
Anyone have a clue?
