Boot heel plate replacement for (old!) nordicas

Hi:  I'm new to the forum so please forgive any errors.  I have an old pair of customized Nordica Syntech F7 boots that fit like a glove (vintage about 15 years ago).  Since I'm not skiing as many days as I used to and the comfort is really great,  I'm hoping to find a source for replacement heel plates that might give me a few more miles.  I'd even settle for used ones if not too badly worn.  Thanks!

Hi Pete,

Heel plates usually need to be special ordered through a Nordica retailer.  Have the retailer check for you.  If you want to check with Nordica directly, here is the contact page off Nordica's website.  http://www.nordica.com/site/contact.php?site=2&lang=1

Good luck with your search.

You might also spend some time calling around to older retailers.  That boot is so old that it might be tough to find the parts you need.   A really good bootfitter might be able to "shim" something onto the boots if not too worn already

Hey Pete,

Another thought.  Check ebay to see if another Syntech boot is up for sale.  You could use it for parts.

Or worst case scenario ... how about some new boots?

I realize this is an old thread but I was looking for heel plates for some Nordica Beasts and this is what I found.

If the parts are available they can be order via www.nordica.com.
They will be listed under SHOP and then ACCESSORIES

Hope that helps.
