ANybody have some expierience with it? Would it suffice as race wax for a mediocre racer on a tight budget?

From what I've heard, their waxes are very good, as are the "mix" waxes from Holmenkol.
As far a using hydrocarbons go. I say that they work quite well for most training and racing. Especially if you keep them brushed out.
Keep a little flouro around for wetter\warmer days to be corked in and brushed out on the hill.
Just remember brushing is the key.
The more you brush them, the faster they will run.
