How much do you ski?

I wonder what everyone means when they say they ski for a day on epicski. For me a "day" I suppose is a good 4-5 hours, but i would still say it is a "day" if i were to ski from say 10 in the morning to 10 at night ie twelve hours. If those are the rules than i ski at least 3 "days" a week in the winter. So how much do you guys ski and what do you think of as a day?

For me a typical day starts as soon as I can get organized (within 15 minutes of opening when on vacation, as late as 11 am if I drive up and get a late start) till last chair.  Sometimes I break for lunch, sometimes eat on the chair.  So usually 6 hours, sometimes as much as 7+, sometimes as little as 4 1/2 hours.

But if I get one run in, it counts as a "day".

If fact, on a similar thread in a previous year, "we" decided that if you do night skiing after day skiing, that counts as two days (but not for your consecutive day total, if you are in a situation to run that statistic up). The situation is particularly clear if you day ski at one area and night ski at another -- if you just ski a few hours straddleing the boundary, I wouldnt count it.

One of my main reasons for counting is to compare to previous years, so I know whether to feel guilty or wronged about the days lost to the responsibilities of everyday life.
