I tell ya, I don't get no reply .... no reply at all

Intermittent problem - when I click the reply button at the bottom of a thread I end up looking at the thread instead of having an open edit window. If I click the reply a second time it works.

Windows XP, IE7

It's happening in Firefox too.  Just started last night as far as I can tell.

Are you guys set to use the full-page editor or the in-page editor?

What do you mean by you end up looking at the thread?

In page.   Click reply button once and the page refreshes and scrolls up to the top.  Click reply button again and the text window opens up so you can reply.

crgildart - what OS/browser?  Is it all of your combinations?  I can't replicate the issue in IE6/7 or FF3 on XP.

I'm actually on the work machine and VPN but have seen it on the others from time to time.  Definately worse today

I just submitted a fix for this particular issue.  Could you let me know if you see it again?

As always, thanks for the feedback.  Much appreciated.

It's working normally for me again.

Thanks for letting me know Noodler.  Enjoy the weekend.

I had to click it (reply) twice to reply just now.  The backspace=previous page IE isue seems better though.

Sorry to say this, but the problem is back and I'm now also having problems with the editor.  The problems are occurring in IE7 and Firefox, but not with Google Chrome (which is what I'm now using just so that I can post).

I have not had this happen in a while.

I'm able to reply again (since late Sunday), but now I'm having a problem with many of the "buttons" on the screen not appearing (like "home", "reply", etc.).  I have to "guessmember" where they were to use the web site.  This "growing pains" are definitely getting tiresome.

Those links are placed on the screen in a simplistic way and I've never heard of them missing.  What OS and browser version are you using when you have this issue?  Could you provide some screenshots?

This was happening in Firefox for a few days and not soon after I posted that message it stopped happening.  Who knows?  All I can say it that I never had any issues on vBulletin, but the Huddler platform has proven to be a challenge at times.

Whenever you have an issue, it's helpful if you can provide the OS version and browser version that you're using so we can attempt to replicate the problem.  If it's a visual issue like you describe, including a screen shot is even better.  Firefox 2 or 3?  Windows XP, Vista?  Mac OSX?

Thanks for taking the time to report your problem, but without those details it makes it nearly impossible for us to look into possible causes.

I finally was able to get to the submit post page..... I upgraded to Internet Explorer 8 and am still having all kinds of problems with posting anything.  I also did what was recommended regarding deleting temporary internet pages, cookies, etcetera.  There definitely is a bug in the system.

Well another day of frustration with trying to post any response.  I find that if I use my wireless internet connection I get no where and have this java script error.  (I then went and downloaded the latest updates)..still could not post via wireless connection.

I then disconnected the wireless and used my dial up modem internet connection and here I am posting to the Bug Report...... Does Epic Ski not like Alltel Wireless??
